Examining the state’s budgetary plans, CM Dhami underlined enhancing GST collection, tackling long-term issues, and using Uttarakhand’s possibilities to fit Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ goal.

“I have instructed every department to offer three to five transforming ideas connected to their own industry. We are looking at how we may enhance our GST collection, the difficulties we will encounter in the next ten years, how to take advantage of our possibilities and potential, and how we might support PM Narendra Modi’s goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047,” he added.

The chief minister underlined that Uttarakhand has great potential in many different fields, which, if properly used, will help the state to prosper considerably.

Focusing on areas like tourism, infrastructure, industry, and government reforms, the state administration is scheduled to conduct thorough examinations of suggested policies in the next months.

CM Dhami also underlined the state’s resilience in handling natural calamities, stressing that his administration has always supported the people during trying circumstances.

“We have had many calamities, ranging from the Kedarnath tragedy to the Silkyara tunnel situation to the Raini landslide. The 17-day rescue effort at the Silkyara tunnel was watched worldwide. Dhami further said that 46 of 54 persons caught in the avalanche in Mana village were rescued.
Notwithstanding the difficulties, the chief minister said Uttarakhand has never wavered.  “We have always sought to be on the ground, face every situation head-on, and support our people,” he said.

Mountains of Uttarakhand render it vulnerable to avalanches, floods, and landslides. Several major rescue missions involving several numbers of people have been carried out recently.

The state government keeps emphasizing disaster readiness, building infrastructure, and improving reaction systems to minimize the effects of such events.

Under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), Dhami on Sunday also looked over a thorough presentation on ideas to support a dairy-based economy and cow-based tourism in Bhararisain and its neighboring towns. The review meeting happened in Dehradun at the CM’s house auditorium.

Using Uttarakhand’s dairy potential and cultural tourism, the project aims to link economic sustainability with rural development.
