After the recent Bihar Police Constable recruitment for 19,000 posts, the Bihar government has now announced 15,000 vacancies for Home Guard positions. The application process will begin on March 27, as per the notification released by the Director General cum Commandant General Office and Home Defense Corps, Bihar.

Patna has the highest number of vacancies, with 1,479 positions, followed by Vaishali with 909 posts, Nalanda with 812, and Darbhanga with 741. Other districts like Samastipur, Saran (Chapra), Madhubani, and Bhagalpur also have significant vacancies. Smaller districts like Sheohar, Supaul, and Saharsa have fewer openings. However, Arwal, Navgachiya, and Bagaha have no vacancies in this recruitment cycle.
The recruitment will be conducted at the district level, allowing candidates to apply from their home districts. The selection process includes a written examination, followed by physical and medical tests. Only candidates who pass all stages will be recruited.
