India boasts some of the most successful comedians in the entertainment industry. While names like Kapil Sharma Vir Das and Bharti Singh are often linked to wealth and popularity one comedian stands out as the richest of them all. His name is Kanneganti Brahmanandam the comedian whos net worth matches or even surpasses to that of some of Indias biggest stars including actors and filmmakers. Kanneganti Brahmanandan who is renowned for his work in Telugu cinema reportedly boasts a staggering net worth of Rs 500 crore. According to a report in News 18 the comedians net worth stands at Rs 505 core. He is currently the Richest Comedian in India with net worth surpassing some of the biggest names in comedy including Kapil Sharma Vir Das Sunil Grover and Johnny Lever. Born on February 1 1956 in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh Brahmanandam initially worked as a Telugu lecturer but his passion for mimicry and theatre drove him to a different path. His love for arts helped him to develop comedic skills which supported him to venture into the world of cinema.     Brahmanandam made his television debut with DD Telugu’s Pakapakalu (1985) but it was his role in 1987 film Aha Naa Pellanta! that made him an overnight sensation. Over the years the actor has appeared in over 1100 films primarily in Telugu cinema. Furthermore he has collaborated with some of the biggest stars including Prabhas Deepika Padukone and more further cementing his position in the entertainment industry. As of now Brahmanandam commands hefty fees of Rs 1 to 2 crore per film even for a brief cameo appearance. His tremendous work in Telugu cinema has allowed him to build a fortune earning both wealth and admiration in the industry. His estimated net worth of Rs 500 crore surpasses that of of his peers including Kapil Sharma (Rs 300 crore) Vir Das (Rs 84 crore) Bharti Singh (Rs 30 crore) and Johnny Lever (280 crore).
