In a major boost for Mukesh Ambani Indias richest man the market cap of his Reliance Industries surged by Rs 39311.54 crore this week to Rs 1727339.74 crore. According to market data Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) remains Indias most-valued domestic company with a mcap of Rs 1727339.74 crore followed by HDFC Bank Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Sunil Mittal-led Bharti Airtel.
During the trade week (Monday-Friday) the combined market valuation of nine of the top-10 most-valued firms including Ambanis Reliance swelled by Rs 306243.74 crore with ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel emerging as the biggest gainers in sync with a bullish trend witnessed in the market in equities.
The BSE benchmark surged 3076.6 points or 4.16 percent while the NSE Nifty climbed 953.2 points or 4.25 percent as per market statistics.

Notably last week Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) had witnessed a surge of Rs 66985.25 crore in its market capitalisation (mcap) which had jumped to Rs 1690328.70 crore as the combined market combined market valuation of seven of Indias top 10 most valued companies had risen by Rs 210254.96 crore.
