In the Katghar police station area of Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh, the police took major action against the drug and arrested the woman in the case of hemp smuggling. 2.314 (two kg of three hundred fourteen grams) of hemp has been recovered from the woman. The police had received information from the informer that the cannabis was being traded in Bhola Nath Colony near the bone mill. The Katghar police, which came into action after receiving information, took the case seriously and started investigation.
Police investigation revealed that Bholanath Colony, a woman named Chandravati, was selling cannabis from a house. The police reached the woman's house as a customer, where the raid was arrested by the police with 2.314 (two kg three hundred and fourteen grams) of hemp. During interrogation, Chandravati has also informed the police about other people and network related to hemp smuggling. The police has started legal action in this regard.
Giving information on the case, Inspector Sanjay Kumar, in -charge of Katghar police station, said that it was reported that a woman from Bholanath Colony named Chandravati is a drug business. Immediate action was taken on information. The woman's house was searched, from where the police have recovered two kg of three hundred and fourteen grams of hemp. The police have registered a case against the woman and started investigation.
Police say that those doing drug trade in the area will not be spared. Soon more drug dealers will be in police custody. After arresting the woman, the police presented her in the court, from there the woman has been sent to jail.
