It will be a grudge-match for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant as he goes up against his former team in the opening game of the IPL 2025 season at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium at Vishakhapatnam in match No. 4 on Monday. Pant spent all of his IPL career from 2016 with the Delhi franchise before deciding to head into the mega auction and was subsequently bought for record price by LSG last year. Delhi Capitals will feature former LSG captain KL Rahul in their line-up after the Karnataka wicketkeeper decided to part ways after the IPL 2024 season.
