Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai Actor Aasif Sheikh Collapses During Shoot In Dehradun, Rushed To Hospital

Actor Aasif Sheikh, who has become a household name with his character Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the superhit sitcom Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed during the show's shoot in Dehradun. The actor has now been flown down to Mumbai for further medical attention.According to a report in Times Now, Sheikh was shooting for a scene in the show which involved intense fight sequences. While shooting for one such scene, he suddenly fell sick and collapsed on the set.He was immediately tended to by the medical professionals on set and was rushed to the nearby hospital. He was later transferred to Mumbai for further treatment.Sheikh's family and the makers of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai are yet to issue an official statement on the actor's health.The show first went on air in 2015 and it has garnered a cult fanbase over the years. Besides Sheikh, who has been a part of the show since its inception, it also stars Rohitashv Gour, Shubhangi Atre, Vidisha Srivastava, and others in key roles.For those unversed, Sheikh was a part of India's first daily soap, Hum Log. He also starred in films like Yes Boss, Karan Arjun, Agni Prem, Auzaar, Aur Pyar Ho Gaya, Jodi No 1, Paheli, Bharat, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, among others.Not many know but Sheikh holds the record for performing more than 300 different characters in a single running television show, which is Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai.
