Electric car and its excellent technology, China's electric car company BYD, which has made a different identity worldwide, has recently launched its new electric vehicle platform. The company claims that the new technology will charge their electric car in just 5 minutes to run 400 km. This 5 minutes is equal to that time, as much time it takes to fill petrol or diesel at a fuel station.

The newly designed blade battery pack has been used in the new EV platform of BYD, known as Super E-Platform. Charging multiplier up to 10C has been used in this technique. This is the highest in any massive power battery in the world. The new architecture supports fast charging up to 1,000 kW.

New technology will be used in all cars

Byd's new super e-platform can bring a big change in the global electric vehicle market in the coming time. This platform will reduce the biggest problem of electric vehicles by significantly reducing the charging time of electric vehicles. At the same time, it will also help the company a lot in challenging a competition like Tesla. Byd has indicated that the new platform will be used in many of its electric vehicles. This innovation can help a lot in advancing byd.

Electric vehicle demand will increase in the world

Byd will create a charging station equipped with new technology in the initial stages in China. Further, it can expand in other countries. Byd's electric cars are also present in India. If this technology comes in India, it will be a challenge for other companies. In the era of innovation, Indian or other foreign companies will have to adopt technology to deal with the challenge. The EV world will benefit from this. As a result of this, Bangalore-based energy-tech startup is preparing to launch the world's first 1.5 MW Ultra-Fast Charging System, competing with Energy BYD. Such innovations will rapidly increase the demand of electric car in countries like India, because so far they avoid purchasing electric cars due to more time in charging.

A matter of concern for Tesla

BYD has already made its own identity in the world, leaving behind Tesla in terms of sales. American EV manufacturer Tesla's China Shipment fell 49 percent to only 30,688 vehicles in February 2025, compared to the same month of last year, the lowest monthly figure since July 2022. With the new EV platform, BYD is likely to gain further edge, which may have more impact on Tesla's sale.
