Students have to register first and then apply by logging in with the given application number and password. Candidates of General, EWS, and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 2,000 as an application fee, while SC, ST, and disabled candidates will have to pay Rs 1,000 as an application fee.
Candidates will have to upload scanned copies of their photo and signature, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, graduation mark sheet, and CAT (GMAT for foreign nationals) scores during the application process. Candidates will be selected based on CAT score, group discussion, and interview.

JNU has informed in a press release that the alumni of the four pass-out batches of MBA from the university's school started in the year 2019 are associated with NABARD, Axis Bank, Zee Health Care, ITC Limited KMPG, Ernst & Young, Petronet LNG, IndusInd Bank, Naukri.com, Somany Ceramics, American Express, Tech Mahindra, KPMG, IIFL, Jackson and Lava Company, while some are running their own business.
JNU had established ABVSME and Atal Incubation Center to promote entrepreneurship and enterprise ecosystem in the country. JNU said that the curriculum is restructured from time to time under the guidance of subject experts from Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
