UP Assistant Professor Exam: The dates for conducting the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination have been announced by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission. This examination will be conducted on 16 and 17 April 2025 in six major districts of the state - Prayagraj, Agra, Meerut, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi. Through this examination, a total of 1017 posts will be recruited in 33 different subjects, for which the candidates were waiting for three years.

Written examination schedule
According to Manoj Kumar, Secretary, of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination will be held on 16 and 17 April 2025 in two shifts from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at various centers. The examination schedule was finalized in the meeting chaired by the Commission's Chairman Prof. Kirti Pandey. 35 to 40 centers will be required for the examination of each shift. The commission has also got the centers for the examination. Less than a month is left for the conduct of the examination. In such a situation, the commission has started finalizing the preparations for the examination. Soon the admit cards of the candidates will also be issued. The commission has already arranged the centers for conducting the examination.

82 thousand candidates eligible to appear in the examination
1.14 lakh candidates had applied for this recruitment examination, out of which about 82,000 candidates have been found eligible to appear in the examination. This recruitment exam is being conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission and this will be the first exam being held after the formation of the commission.

When the result of UP Board 2025 High School and Intermediate is declared, students will be able to check and download their results through the website of Amar Ujala.

For the first time, the exam will also be held in other districts.

Earlier, the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination was conducted only in Prayagraj, but this time the exam will be conducted in six major districts of the state. Earlier this exam was conducted by the Higher Education Service Commission, but now after the formation of the Education Service Selection Commission, the exam is being conducted under the new rules.

The separate date will be released for the B.Ed subject

Separate dates will be announced for the posts of B.Ed subject included in the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination. According to Manoj Kumar, Secretary of the Commission, the process of advertisement will be completed soon in compliance with the order passed on September 1, 2023 in the petition filed in Allahabad High Court and the special leave petition filed in the Supreme Court, New Delhi in the case of the posts of Assistant Professor B.Ed. Subject included in Advertisement No. 51 advertised in July 2022.
