Neha Kakkar recently faced an unpleasant situation at her Melbourne concert, where the audience greeted her with boos. The backlash came as a result of her arriving three hours late to the event.

Tony Kakkar recently shared a cryptic post on his Instagram defending his sister.

On his Instagram, he shared a picture where he wrote, “Suppose I invite you to my city for an event and take full responsibility for all arrangements— booking your hotel, car, airport pickup, and tickets. Now, imagine you arrive only to find that nothing has been booked. No car at the airport, no hotel reservation, and no tickets. In that situation, who is to blame?’

He captioned this post, “Ek Sawaal Hai... (One question) folded hand emoji, Kisi ke liye nahi hai...Bas sawaal hai... (Not directed towards anyone, but just a question) Hypothetically."

He wrote in an another post, “Artist maryada mein rahe, aur janta? (An artist should remain within their limits, but what about the public?)."

Tony might have thought that this would work in his sister’s favour, but users on social media drew an UNO Reverse and started trolling Tony for playing the blame game.

One user commented, “You have a team working for you. A manager aligned to you (Kushal Sampat). You are doing an international tour. Not one person in your team or your manager checked the bookings? Do not try to pass the blame around! It is as much your own damn fault!!”

Another user commented, “What kind of backwards logic is that Tony kakkar? She is a big singer and surely must have an entire team who does initial due diligence. You make it sound like Neha Kakkar just arrived on the scene from some remote village. Own up to your mistakes and apologise for once ffs.”

One user reacted, “Please….. singers turn up at the venue before hand….. rehearse, check acoustics etc… they don’t turn up at the venue right along with the audience…. Even Beyoncé and Taylor do stage checks…..”

Neha Kakkar has not issued any statement about the incident till now, but users are asking for a clarification from her as she only performed for 45 minutes despite being 3 hours late.
