India is the fastest growing economy among the worlds big economies. It includes 19 countries of the world whose economy size is more than 1 trillion dollars. According to IMF data the growth rate of Indias economy is expected to be 6.5% this year. Along with this the size of Indias economy is estimated to reach 4.3 trillion dollars. But do you know which is the fastest growing economy in the world? This is a country that has come into existence recently and Indias economy is 804 times bigger than this.
According to the IMF this year South Sudans economy will grow the fastest in the world. Its GDP growth is estimated to be 27.2% in 2025. With this the size of its economy will become 5.3 billion dollars. This East African country which came into existence in July 2011 has a population of 11.5 million and an area of 644329 square km. The second name in this list is Guyana. The GDP growth rate of this Caribbean country is expected to be 14.4 percent in 2025. It is followed by Libya (13.7%) Senegal (9.3%) and Palau (8.5%). That means this year the growth rate of all these countries will be higher than India.
As far as big economies are concerned after India Indonesias economy is expected to grow the fastest this year. According to the IMF the economy of the worlds largest Islamic country will grow at a rate of 5.1 percent this year to reach $1.5 trillion. Saudi Arabias economy is expected to grow at a rate of 4.6 percent to reach $1.1 trillion Chinas economy is expected to grow at 4.5 percent to reach $19.5 trillion and Turkeys economy is expected to grow at 2.7 percent to reach $1.7 trillion.
