Holly Willoughby still without ITV job as former co-star signs up to 'string' of shows

host Stephen Mulhern has reportedly got plenty of projects coming up with ITV, despite the ice-skating programme being cancelled by bosses after 19 years. The long-running series, which had been a staple on the broadcaster since 2006, will not return for its 20th season after the show's viewing figures slumped recently.

first joined the show initially as a co-host alongside until his exit in 2023, with Stephen Mulhern stepping in to replace him during last year's series. According to , Holly seems to have been left out, while her co-star Stephen has several projects confirmed with ITV. The mum of three previously worked on until her departure in 2023 and last appeared on Celebrity Juice in 2020.

A source told the publication, "Despite the sad news that Dancing on Ice won't be returning next year, this clearly isn't going to slow Stephen down any time soon. His 2025 schedule is already packed, with Celebrity Catchphrase and Deal or No Deal continuing to be solid favourites. He is also launching a brand-new travel show, Accidental Tourist, later this year."

They added, "That's not the case for Holly, though, with nothing confirmed for her at ITV right now." Express Online has contacted ITV and Holly's representatives for comment. Following the news that will not be commissioned for 2026, Holly also broke her silence on social media but failed to mention Phillip Schofield in her farewell tribute.

Taking to , she penned, "A huge thank you to , The brilliant team, Crew, Celebrities and Everyone who has been part of our Dancing on Ice family over the last 19 years. Every year, just when January felt at its greyest, Dancing on Ice arrived like a burst of glittering, dazzling light, warm, joyful, and full of heart.

"It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside true national treasures Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, and to have a front-row seat to their breathtaking skating. Watching them glide across the ice was nothing less than pure magic. A special thanks must also go to Arnica, Deep Heat, Spanx, and Fake Tan, unsung heroes of the rink! ... I will miss it hugely, but I count myself so lucky to have had it for as long as we did. Finally and most importantly, thank you to you for watching, you're the BEST!" [sic]
