Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade is in legal trouble after a fraud case was registered against him in Uttar Pradesh. He and 14 others have been accused of cheating people out of crores of rupees through a chit fund scheme. This alleged fraud had reportedly been happening in Mahoba district for the past 10 years. According to IANS the accused ran a company called The Loni Urban Multistate Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society Limited which promised villagers huge returns on their investments. Reports claim that agents of the company convinced villagers that their money would double quickly but later disappeared when the company came under legal scrutiny. A case has been registered at the Srinagar police station and an investigation is underway. This is not the first fraud case against Shreyas Talpade. In February an FIR was filed against him and veteran actor Alok Nath in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly cheating investors out of Rs 9 crore. The two actors along with five others were booked at Lucknows Gomti Nagar police station. Earlier Shreyas Alok Nath and 11 others were also accused of a multi-level marketing fraud case in Sonipat Haryana. However Shreyas has not yet made any official statement regarding these allegations. On the work front Shreyas will next be seen in Comedy of Errors and Welcome to the Jungle starring alongside Akshay Kumar Tusshar Kapoor Sanjay Dutt Paresh Rawal Arshad Warsi Bobby Deol Raveena Tandon Suniel Shetty Mika Singh Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez. He is also part of Housefull 5 which features Akshay Kumar Riteish Deshmukh Abhishek Bachchan Sanjay Dutt Bobby Deol Fardeen Khan Nana Patekar Jackie Shroff Dino Morea Jacqueline Fernandez Nargis Fakhri Chitrangada Singh Sonam Bajwa Soundarya Sharma and Chunky Panday.
