Viewers have been singing the praises of the new hard-hitting crime drama This City is Ours, with many branding it 'one of the best ever' following its second episode on Sunday evening (March 30).
The BBC series features Sean Bean as Ronnie Phelan, a crime boss whose retirement plans trigger a fierce succession struggle between his right-hand man Michael Kavanagh, played by James Nelson-Joyce, and his own son Jamie, portrayed by Jack McMullen.
The plot thickens when Michael encounters Diana, acted by Hannah Onslow, and together they start to dream of a life without crime.
