The name bestowed by his father holds a special place in the familys history. Unlike his other residences Prateeksha reflects nostalgia familial warmth and the essence of Bachchans legacy. Every home has a story and Amitabh Bachchans Prateeksha is no exception! One of the most captivating aspects of this property is its alluring garden that features a 48-year-old tree which was planted by Big B himself in 1976. In 2020 during a storm the tree was uprooted and the actor replanted a new Gulmohar tree on his mother Teji Bachchan’s birth anniversary. The entrance of Prateeksha features tan-coloured gates and a beautiful structure behind them. Earlier Big B used to greet his fans outside Prateeksha every Sunday until this tradition shifted to his other home Jalsa. Prateeksha’s interiors blend contemporary and traditional aesthetics.
