For the last few days, Ghibli Style pictures become very popular on the Internet. Millions of people are sharing their Ghibli-style pictures on social media by creating them with ChatGPT. Although some users are also creating such pictures using Elon Musk's Grok AI chatbot, ChatGPT seems to be giving better results in this case. Because of this, people are using OpenAI's chatbot more, due to which some problems of ChatGPT have increased. Due to Ghibli-style pictures being so popular, thousands of users are using ChatGPT simultaneously, which is putting a lot of pressure on the chatbot.

Heavy demand for image generation feature
Recently the CEO of the company said that due to this their GPUs are 'melting'. Now in a recent X post, the CEO of the company has requested people to please exercise some restraint in generating images, this is madness, our team needs sleep. From this statement, it seems that the demand for the image generation feature is taking a toll on OpenAI's GPUs as well as the team.

The limit imposed on free-tier users

In a recent post, amid the tremendous demand for OpenAI's new image generator feature, the company's CEO Sam Altman talked about a new challenge. Altman had said that due to the excitement about ChatGPT's image generator, OpenAI's GPUs are 'melting'. Given this, the company has to set a limit on image generation. Now ChatGPT is creating only three photos every day for users in the free tier. Not only this, Altman also mentioned his new Ghibli-style profile photo, which was created with this feature.

This feature is so amazing.

OpenAI recently introduced this image generator in ChatGPT, which received a tremendous response from users. This feature allows users to create images, diagrams, logos, infographics, stock photos, and business cards in minutes. Another feature of this tool is that it can take a previously created photo and turn it into a painting or professional headshot.

However, due to the high demand for this feature, OpenAI's computing power has come under heavy pressure. GPUs have to multitask due to this demand, due to which they are getting overloaded at times. The company is now limiting image generation to handle this pressure and keep the service stable.
