The change in the schedule on Eid, a day of high commuter traffic, is expected to affect the early morning rush hours. Passengers are advised to be mindful of the altered start time, particularly those who had planned to use the Metro for their morning commutes.
The MMRCL also expressed regret for any inconvenience this schedule shift may cause to passengers. However, the authorities assured that the adjustment is part of necessary operational steps to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the metro service.
Eid celebrations on 31st March will see an influx of people travelling across the city, making the Metro Line 3, which connects key locations, an essential mode of transport. Commuters are encouraged to stay updated on real-time travel information and consider alternate arrangements if needed during the initial hours of service.
