Rajasthan Royals' number three Nitish Rana's celebration went viral after he rocketed himself to a half-century in the IPL 2025 game against the Chennai Super Kings in Guwahati on Sunday. In a video surfaced on social media, the left-handed batter swung his hands with the bat, signalling the arrival of two of their kids.

On March 6, Rana had taken to his official Instagram account and wrote a caption, "From stadiums to site visits, now onto our biggest project yet—two tiny teammates coming soon!". The former Kolkata Knight Riders batter had taken the Super Kings' bowlers to the cleaners and kept the Royals' scoreboard ticking despite losing Yashasvi Jaiswal cheaply in the very first over. After cracking a 21-ball fifty with a boundary, the southpaw let out the below celebration:

The 31-year-old was eventually outfoxed by Ravichandran Ashwin as MS Dhoni had him stumped with a wide delivery, sending him packing for 81 off 36 deliveries.

Rajasthan Royals finish in overwhelming fashion despite Nitish Rana's explosive knock

Despite the left-handed batter's whirlwind knock, the Royals could not get the flourish they were looking for in the death overs. The likes of Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer failed to do their job, meaning the Royals finished at 182/9 in their allotted 50 overs.

Noor Ahmad and Matheesha Pathirana picked up two wickets each for 56 runs in their eight overs. Both Super Kings and Royals are coming off defeats in their matches. However, Rajasthan are yet to get on board and the Yellow Army had defeated the Mumbai Indians for their first victory.
