Controversial Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has been making headlines due to his ordeal while detailing why he left Pakistan.
Rajab Butt is presently embroiled in blasphemy charges, which compelled him to depart. While weeping in an emotional vlog, he shared his ordeals, which reduced his family and fans to tears.
The row started when Rajab Butt introduced his perfume, which attracted harsh criticism because of its objectionable name. Even though he apologized in a video, putting his hand on the Holy Quran and wearing Ihram in front of the House of Allah, the backlash did not stop.
Because of this, he was compelled to depart from Pakistan unexpectedly.
In his vlog, Rajab Butt emotionally justified his exit, stating, “I am recording everything and carrying it with me. As soon as I get an opportunity, I will share everything with my followers.”
He disclosed, “I am no longer in Pakistan. I departed on the night of March 23. I do not fear for myself, but I was concerned about my mother and family. Their safety was my greatest concern, so I had to depart.”
Rajab Butt also explained, “I arrived here by myself, without property or friends. Even my relatives only learned about it when I had already arrived at my destination. I do not know whether I will ever go back to Pakistan or not, but I want to go back after some time. I took only a shirt and my mobile with me because my life was in danger. I had become a target, that’s why I left by myself. Now, some of my friends are joining me here too.”
Talking about his struggles, he further said, “I do not know when this tough period will come to an end but I pray for my parents’ safety. There is no peace left in my life anymore.”
As per Rajab Butt, “I have done so much in life, but I am not able to enjoy anything. I have a house but am not able to stay there, cars which I am not able to drive, and even my life is no longer peaceful. I never wanted to commit mistakes, but humans are sure to make mistakes. But when God forgives, why can’t people? For God’s sake, learn to forgive. If something happens to my parents due to my circumstances, I will never be able to forgive myself.”
After his remarks, numerous fans have come out in his support. Some are urging him to settle down overseas, opining that Pakistan is not secure for successful online content creators.
One fan said, “Please don’t return to Pakistan. This nation is not for you.”
