Maruti Suzuki E Vitara, India's largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki's first electric car, is going to be launched soon. EV has been launched globally in Italy in November 2024. Now Maruti Suzuki can launch E Vitara in India anytime. The announcement of the launch date from the company is awaited.

Apart from launching the electric SUV, Maruti Suzuki is also focusing on developing a strong EV charging network for customers. Regarding this, the company believes that it will be successful in fulfilling its goal of becoming the biggest producer of electric vehicles in the country.

What will be the design of electric SUV

Maruti Suzuki e Witara 2023 is like the Maruti Suzuki EVX concept introduced at Auto Expo. E Vitara has LED projector headlamps, y-shaped LED DRLs and front fog lamps. It is an EV, so it does not have a radiator grill. There is black cladding on the side profile. It will have 18 inch aerodynamic alloy wheels. At the back, there are a black bumper and three-piece LED taillight associated with a bright black strip.

How will be features in e vitara

The cabin of Maruti Suzuki E Vitara has a dual-spoke steering wheel and dual-screen setup on the dashboard. The dual-screen has a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and another 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. There are some other facilities within the cabin of E Vitara, such as rectangular AC vent, auto-dimming IRVM, semi-solidrett seat upholstery, an electronic parking brake and a wireless phone charger. It has a panoramic sunroof, 10-way adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats. There are also 7 airbags, 360-degree surround view camera and Adas.

Battery and range

It is expected that Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will come in two battery pack options. There will be a 49 kwh and 61 kwh. Both battery packs will have different power outputs, which will have a range of more than 500 kilometers once charged. E Vitara will have the capacity to support both 7 kw AC charging and 70 kw DC fast charging.

These vehicles will compete with E Vitara

Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will enter the very competitive electric compact SUV market. This segment currently has 6 models of different prices, from MG Windsor Ev to Tata Curvv Ev, Hyundai Creta EV and MG ZS EV. Mahindra Be 6 and Byd Atto 3 is also in this list. It is expected that the price of Maruti Suzuki E Vitara will be quite competition.
