Shubman Gill's Generous Donation to Healthcare

Shubman Gill, the vice-captain of India's ODI cricket team, has made a significant contribution by donating medical equipment valued at Rs 35 lakh to the Phase-VI Civil Hospital in Mohali as part of his Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.

The donation includes essential items such as a ventilator, bedside monitors, a multi-parameter monitor, minor operation tables, an operating theatre light, and an X-ray system.

Dr. Sangeeta Jain, the Civil Surgeon of Mohali, stated, "The equipment will be utilized based on the assessed needs. If another hospital requires it more urgently, we can transfer it there."

Health Department representatives noted that Gill's aunt, Dr. Kushaldeep Kaur, who serves as the District Immunization Officer in Patiala, was present during the donation ceremony.

As a player excelling in all three formats of cricket, Gill's popularity and brand value continue to grow, especially following his recent appointment as the vice-captain of the ODI team.
