A woman has criticised her 'entitled' neighbour for permitting their employees to in her driveway while working at her house. She detailed how her neighbour operates a pet grooming business from home, leading to a constant flow of clients throughout the day.

Due to limited street parking and two vacant driveway spaces during the day, the neighbour began suggesting her employees and customers use these spots for convenience. However, upon discovering this, the woman was understandably irked by the situation.

Speaking on , she said: "I'm on half days this week and have just got home to find a car in my driveway. As we are a corner house we have two driveways, big enough for one car each."

She further explained the parking difficulties in the area due to permit restrictions and lack of allocated parking for the terraced houses opposite hers.

She stated: "My front drive is very clearly my driveway. I came home today to find a car in my drive which was not my husband's." Consequently, she confronted her neighbour about the issue, but was taken aback by her response.

She continued: "I go and knock on several doors to find out who it belongs too, turns out it's one of the employees who is staying for a little while longer.

"'But I'll only be another hour, so I'll move it then.' I reply, 'No, move it now please as I have to unload my car.' Person refuses and I end up leaving telling them to move it within 30 minutes. That was an hour ago and when I knock on the door there is no answer."

She came to realise that this car either parking in her driveway or blocking it has become a regular morning occurrence - a problem she can't fathom given its persistence for months.

She said: "When he questioned them about it, apparently my entitled neighbour has said it's OK for them to park there and they have cleared it with us. No they bloody haven't!".

The angry resident added: "Thing is this went on last year but after words it sooner stopped but obviously they are doing it again. I'm sat here glaring out my front window waiting for the person to move his car then we will have words. I would block it in, but the road is only wide enough for one car so would block the road."

After the thread gained traction, people took to the comments section to share their advice.

One user suggested: "Oh my god that is super cheeky! Anyway you could block it in with other stuff? Stuff obviously they can move but it will help make a point?".

Another chimed in hoping for a proactive measure: "And hoping I get in there first for the future maybe penguin bollards?" While yet another advised: "Get it towed."

Another commenter agreed: "Cheeky buggers. Definitely get yourself some drop bollards."
