Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The district administration is acting against developing illegal colonies in the district and as a step in that direction, sealed the offices of one such colony in the village Dhannad in the Rau Tehsil area on Monday.
Investigation was conducted following a complaint
Action has come in the wake of Collector Asheesh Singh’s instructions against such illegal colonies. SDM Rau Gopal Singh Verma said that in this particular case, an investigation was conducted following a complaint of illegal construction in the village.
It was said that the land on Khasra number 1061 in the name of Arun, son of Parmanand Sisodia, and Khasra number 1058/5 in the name of Ishwar, son of Badrilal, is listed as agricultural land. However, a paved road and other development structures, including 70 under-construction houses, were found on the land on Khasra no. 1061, while the other one was vacant.
The owner, was directed to appear before the SDM
Two locked offices, allegedly for the sale of plots and row houses in the colony, which is being developed on the land, were also spotted. Since no one was present there, the offices were sealed.
Arun, the owner of the first plot of land, was directed to appear before the SDM on April 1 with all the documents.
