New Delhi: From television to OTT and now cinema! Comedian Kapil Sharma is going places. The 43-year-old star is making headlines once again with the announcement of the sequel to his debut film, titled Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.
The renowned comedian, on Monday (March 31, 2025), took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the poster of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 on the occasion of Eid. “Eid Mubarak #KKPK2,” read the caption. In no time, the poster received more than 1.5 lakh views and thousands of likes from netizens.
In the image, Kapil can be seen dressed in a white sherwani with a floral sehra. He is looking into the camera with a blend of emotions, amalgamating confusion with surprise. Standing beside him is his wife, who is draped in a blue lehenga, but her face is covered by a translucent veil.
The first-look poster has sparked curiosity among his fans. At the same time, it is equally exciting enough to elevate the entertainment quotient.
The upcoming movie is being directed by Anukalp Goswami, who is believed to be a writer for The Kapil Sharma Show. While Abbas-Mustan serve as co-producers, Manjot Singh of Fukrey fame will spill comedy all over with his performance, joining the cast.
Directed by blockbuster filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon took the silver screen by storm on September 25, 2015. It also featured Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sai Lokur, Sharat Saxena and Manoj Joshi in pivotal roles.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon grossed Rs 72.25 crore at the Box Office across the globe. It was labelled a moderate success. The storyline of the comedy flick revolves around a man who attempts to balance his life with three wives while at the same time trying to strike a balance with his girlfriend.
