The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam will begin tomorrow, April 2, and will continue until April 9. Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) will be conducted in two shifts, while Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) will take place in one shift. The exam schedule is as follows:
First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode at various centers across India. Admit cards for the April 2 exam are now available. Students who haven’t downloaded theirs yet can do so by visiting the official NTA website, entering their registration number and date of birth. No student will be allowed entry without the admit card.
Students are required to follow a specific dress code for the exam:
Wear light, comfortable clothes. School uniforms are also allowed.
Avoid wearing: Short shorts, mini skirts, and any form of flashy or tight clothing.
Prohibited items: Watches, electronic devices, jewelry, and other metal accessories.
Footwear: Students may wear shoes.
On the exam day, students must carry:
Admit Card (downloadable from the NTA website).
A valid photo ID (Aadhar card, PAN card, or Voter ID).
Two recent passport-sized color photographs.
A transparent ballpoint pen.
For Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech):
90 questions in total.
30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Section A: 20 MCQs per subject.
Section B: 5 compulsory numerical questions per subject.
For Paper 2A (B.Arch):
A total of 77 questions covering Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing.
