In terms of the Premier League, Chelsea are in fourth place and will be determined to secure all three points against Tottenham to boost their chances of qualifying for the Champions League.

It's possible that fifth place may also be enough to qualify for the tournament, depending on where England ranks within UEFA's coefficients. Last season saw Germany and Italy awarded the extra Champions League place, but Chelsea will be hoping to finish fourth and avoid relying on such permutations.

Chelsea have nine Premier League fixtures left to play this season, five of which will be played at Stamford Bridge. After hosting Tottenham on Thursday, the Blues will also face Ipswich Town, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United at home.

Maresca and Co. will also have to go on the road for four matches in the league this season. Chelsea will travel to face Brentford, Fulham, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest before the end of the campaign.
