JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Important Exam Guidelines to Follow Before Reaching the Center

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to commence the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination from April 2, 2025. Candidates appearing for the exam must be aware of the essential guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience at the exam center.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Schedule

NTA has officially announced the schedule for JEE Main 2025 Session 2:

  • Paper 1 (BE/BTech): April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, 2025.

  • Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan): April 9, 2025.

Admit cards for the exams scheduled on April 2, 3, and 4 are now available for download on the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit cards for exams on April 7, 8, and 9 will be released soon.

Crucial Guidelines for JEE Main 2025 Exam

Candidates must adhere to the following important instructions before heading to the exam center:

  • Arrive on Time: Reach the examination center at least an hour before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Late entry will not be permitted after the gate closes.

  • Carry Essential Documents: Bring your JEE Main 2025 Admit Card, a valid photo ID proof, and a passport-sized photograph as required.

  • Follow the Dress Code: Avoid wearing shoes and opt for simple sandals or slippers. Female candidates are advised not to wear jewelry or accessories.

  • Proper Use of Rough Sheets: Write your name and roll number on the rough sheet before using it and submit it to the invigilator after the exam.

  • Complete the Attendance Form Accurately: Fill in all details carefully in clear handwriting, attach your passport-sized photo in the designated space, and ensure that your thumb impression is clear.

Key Details to Verify on JEE Main 2025 Admit Card

Before appearing for the exam, candidates should check the following details on their admit card:

  • Candidate's Name

  • Exam Date and Time

  • Examination Center Details

  • Subject and Paper Code

  • Important Instructions

Additionally, before the admit card release, NTA issues a City Intimation Slip, allowing candidates to verify their allotted exam city in advance.
