The choreographer's real name is Ramesh Gopi. However, after growing up, Remo took permission from his parents and changed his name to Remo D'Souza. Remo, who was fond of dance from the beginning, turned to Mumbai to make a career in Bollywood. But in 'Mayanagari', he had a whereabouts to live and not to eat. After coming to Mumbai, Remo got the first major success as a choreographer through the 2000 film 'Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar'. After this film, he made a distinct identity by choreography of songs like Dhoom 2's 'Dhoom Again', ABCD's 'Sun Saathiya', Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani's 'Badtamiz Dil', Street Dancer 3D's 'Summer' and Student of the Year's 'Disco Deewane'. Apart from these, Remo has also directed films like 'Race 3', 'ABCD', 'waste', 'ABCD 2' and 'A Flying Jatt'.
Remo, who once longed to eat, lives a luxury life today. He has made crores of property through his work. According to media reports, Remo D'Souza has a total assets of around Rs 80 crore.
