Not Ozempic, THIS drug is Meghan Trainor's secret to dramatic weight loss; all you need to know

Meghan Trainor's unbelievable transformation has been making headlines for quite some time now. The mother of two is aging in reverse, looking like a younger version of herself. After sparking Ozempic rumours, Trainor has finally opened up on the components of her secret weight loss recipe, which is a mix of science and lifestyle changes.
The popular singer took to Instagram to express her gratitude for being awarded Hitmaker Award at 2025 Billboard Women in Music, but also mentioned how it was "a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here."
Trainor also shared some key details of her weight loss journey with her fans. Trying to be her healthiest and strongest version, the singer talked about the massive lifestyle changes she adopted and also admitted to using weight loss drug Mounjaro for supporting her arduous journey.
"No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago. I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great," she said.
Spilling her weight loss secrets
"Science is the secret. I love it," she told Entertainment Tonight.
Trainor revealed she learned a lot of tricks that she had no idea about. "I was working out so incorrectly wrong for so long. I was running and doing cardio and my body was inflamed, always," she revealed.
"I'm trying to biohack my body. So anything that'll help me age backward, I’m into it."
NAD supplementsThe songstress also talked about taking NADs supplements. "I was like, ‘Make me Hailey Bieber. I'll do it. I'll take it’ … I’m trying all the things. I love a doctor explaining stuff to me." she told the outlet.
Meghan Trainor's postpartum weight loss
The diva shed a massive 60 pounds after giving birth to her first son Riley. She slowly began the transformation, to bring herself out from a dark place, for her son. “I was, like, over 200 pounds when I C-sectioned him out,” the “Been Like This” singer told ET Canada in 2022.
Trainor has also talked about lifting weights and increasing her protein intake for weight loss.
The singer revealed she exercised everyday and challenged herself as she saw her pounds coming off one week at a time.
What is Mounjaro?Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription medication primarily used to manage type 2 diabetes. It’s an injectable medication that works by helping to regulate blood sugar levels. Mounjaro is unique because it targets both the GLP-1 and GIP receptors, which are involved in insulin regulation.
Benefits of Mounjaro
Improves blood sugar: Mounjaro helps lower blood sugar levels by enhancing insulin secretion in response to meals, which is beneficial for managing type 2 diabetes.
Promotes weight loss: In clinical studies, patients taking Mounjaro have experienced significant weight loss, which can be an additional benefit for people with type 2 diabetes who may also be overweight.
Reduces A1C levels: Mounjaro has been shown to significantly reduce A1C levels (a measure of long-term blood sugar control), helping individuals with type 2 diabetes manage their condition more effectively.
Improves cardiovascular health: Some studies suggest that Mounjaro may help reduce the risk of heart-related issues in people with type 2 diabetes, improving overall cardiovascular health.
Dual receptor targeting: Unlike other medications, Mounjaro targets both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, which may enhance its effectiveness in managing blood sugar and providing other health benefits compared to single-receptor-targeted drugs.
