Tel Aviv: This evening, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Secretary General Mathias Cormann of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.

They spoke on how the State of Israel is affected by changes in the world economy.

The OECD expects the Israeli economy to develop faster in the next year than the world average and OECD nations in particular, the Secretary General stated, highlighting the strength of the Israeli economy and the high-tech sector.

Israeli Ambassador to the OECD Shai Cohen, National Economic Council Chairman Prof. Avi Simhon, and National Security Council Director Tzachi Hanegbi were also present at the conference.
