Late veteran actress Sridevi had established herself as a big name not just in Bollywood but in South industry too. Her cinematic journey commenced from down south and she eventually made her mark in Hindi cinema. It is not necessary to have a family in the same domain sometimes the colleagues turn family or grow close bonds. This is an old photo of Sridevi with three girls sitting at an event.
These three are sisters and two of them are big actress of date. One rules south while other is a superstar in Bollywood and south too. One of them has also worked with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Does it ring any bells?
Girls Clicked with Sridevi Are Sisters
In this vintage photo Sridevi is seen draped in a saree and a beautiful chunni over it. Reportedly it is a snapshot from the sets of Aulad (1987) These girls are siblings but step-sisters. There names are Nagma and Jyothika. The third one is Roshni the youngest.
Nagma was born to Hindu father Arvind Morarji and Muslim mother Seema originally named Shama Kazi. Years later her parents got separated and her mother re-married. She tied the knot with Chander Sadanah who was Punjabi Hindu. They had three kids Jyothika and Roshni and have a brother too.
Nagma made her debut in 1990 with the iconic film Baaghi along with Salman Khan. She went on to star in several notable films including King Uncle (1993) where she was featured alongside Shah Rukh Khan Varasudu (1993) Suhaag (1994) Kadhalan (1994) Baashha (1995) and Lal Baadshah (1999). She had worked with Mohan Babu Chiranjeevi Rajnikanth Prabhu Deva in the south. Later after shifting to Mumbai she essayed several supporting role characters.
Jyothika is younger than Nagma. She is regarded highly and a prolific actor in Tamil cinema. But she also made her film debut with Akshaye Khanna in 19997 release Doli Saja Ke Rakhna. Eventually she started getting good films in south. However she went on a hiatus after getting married to south superstar Suriya. In 2015 she made a comeback with 36 Vayadhinile. Recently she was seen in Shaitaan starring Ajay Devgn and R. Madhadvan. On OTT she was featured in Dabba Cartel too with Shabana Azmi.
