It has not one or two but 6 entrances. They are identified as Jai Pol, Suraj Pol, Chand Pol, Laxman Pol, Andheri Pol and Krishna Pol. There are many temples and palaces in which King Maharaja used to live here. It is said that at the time of his exile in Jahangir, some time was spent here. He stayed in Salim Mahal here. Many interesting stories about it are famous. Some say that Jahangir hid his treasure here, which is full of gold and precious gems. People also recognize it by the name of Kubera's treasure. It is said that Jahangir hid his treasure in the surrounding forest or tunnel. However, no evidence of this is present in history.
