Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma have officially ended their marriage last month, with legal proceedings concluding their separation. The couple, who tied the knot in December 2020, had reportedly been living apart for over a year and a half before their divorce was finalised. Confirming the legal split, Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin Kumar Gupta, shared a statement with ANI, saying, “The court has granted the divorce, and both parties are no longer husband and wife.”

Family Denies Speculations About Alimony Amount

Amid the divorce proceedings, several unverified reports began circulating regarding the alimony settlement , with some claims suggesting a massive Rs 60 crore figure. However, Dhanashree Verma’s family was quick to dismiss these allegations, stating that such claims were completely baseless. “No such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumours whatsoever,” they clarified.

Actual Alimony Amount Revealed
Later, a report by Bar and Bench put an end to the speculation, revealing that the actual alimony amount settled upon was Rs 4.75 crore. It was further reported that Chahal has already made an initial payment of Rs 2.37 crore as part of the settlement.
