CM Nitish Kumar reached Vaishali, directed to speed up Buddhist stupa construction

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday inspected the Buddha Samyak Darshan-Smriti Stupa under construction at Vaishaligarh in Vaishali district and directed to complete the construction work fast. During the inspection, the Chief Minister reviewed the construction and development works of the entire campus. The Chief Minister inspected the landline and first floor of Buddha Stupa and inquired about the ongoing construction works. He also inspected the meditation center and inquired about the arrangements there.

During the inspection, the Secretary of the Building Construction Department Kumar Ravi, while giving the updated information about the progress of the construction of the Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-Smriti Stupa to the Chief Minister, said that its construction work is almost complete and the remaining work will be completed in a month.

Talks of ponds and trees and plants

The Chief Minister took detailed information regarding the main components (stone structure), museum blocks, library and meditation centers, visitor centers, guest houses, displays and circulating centers of the scheme and inspected the site and visited the construction works in a barricade. The Chief Minister reviewed the ponds and trees planted in the campus. He also inspected the gallery of Making of Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Smriti Stupa.

Vaishali Historical-Pranic Site

The Chief Minister said that Vaishali is a historical and mythological place. In all the bone urn found of Lord Buddha, the bone urn found in Vaishali is the most authentic. After the construction work of Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Smriti Stupa is completed, along with Buddhist monks as well as a large number of tourists from all over the country and abroad will come. People coming here will be aware of many more information about Buddha. Devotees coming to Bodh Gaya and Rajgir will also come here.

On this occasion, Building Construction Minister Jayant Raj, MLA Siddharth Patel and other public representatives, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. S. Siddharth, Chief Minister's Secretary Anupam Kumar, Secretary to Chief Minister, Secretary cum Building Construction Department, Kumar Ravi, Special Affairs Officer to Chief Minister, Gopal Singh, Arts, Culture and Youth Department Secretary Pranav Kumar, Commissioner of Tirhut Division, N. Sarvana, Police Deputy Inspector General of Tirhut area District Magistrate Yashpal Meena, Vaishali Superintendent of Police Lalit Mohan Sharma, Secretary of Bodh Gaya Temple Management Committee, Mrs. Mahashweta Maharathi and other officers and engineers were present.
