Kathmandu (Nepal), April 05 (ANI): Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli described his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, held on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC Summit, as productive and forward-looking. Speaking at a press conference upon his return to Kathmandu on Saturday afternoon, PM Oli stated that both leaders had reaffirmed their commitment to elevating bilateral relations to new heights. The Prime Minister also dismissed claims of strained relations with the southern neighbor, calling them mere rumors. He added that a visit to India is only a matter of time. PM Oli’s remarks came in response to a question about whether he plans to visit India before the upcoming Sagarmatha Sambaad. PM Oli called his meeting with PM Modi at the BIMSTEC Summit fruitful and more cordial than their last interaction at the UNGA. He dismissed rumors of strained ties with India and said a visit to India is only a matter of time.
