There is no shortage of Rajma rice food. Rajma rice is very beneficial for health. It contains nutrients like fiber, iron, magnesium, calcium, vitamin-C, folate and copper. Rajma is also beneficial for diabetic patients. Rules are found in soluble fiber and carbohydrates in Rajma. This helps in controlling diabetes. Rajma is beneficial to keep bones strong. So let's know how to make Rajma Masala.
Material for making Rajma Masala:
Rajma (kidney beans) – 1 cup (soaked overnight)
Water-3-4 cups (to boil)
salt to taste
Onion – 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato – 2 (grated or puree)
Ginger-garlic paste-1 teaspoon
Green chili – 1 (chopped)
Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil / Ghee-2-3 tablespoons
Green coriander – to decorate
How to make Rajma Masala
1. Boil Rajma:
Add 3-4 cups of water and a little salt to the soaked Rajma and cook till 4-5 whistles.
After boiling, Rajma should be soft (easily mash).
2. Preparation of Masala:
Heat oil in the pan.
Click cumin (if you want), then add onion and fry till it becomes golden.
Now add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, fry till the fragrance comes.
Then add tomato puree and add spices (turmeric, red chili, coriander powder).
Cook until the oil starts separating.
3. Rajma Milan:
Add boiled Rajma and some water in the spices.
Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes so that the spices in Rajma dissolve well.
Finally add garam masala and green coriander.
4. Serving:
Serve the hot Rajma Masala with rice (Rajma-rice) or roti/paratha.
