Delhi University UG Admission 2025: Bihar Board has released the results of 10th and 12th. Now soon the result of UP Board will also come. Gradually all the boards are releasing the results. After the 12th, now it is the turn to find a good college for graduation and then take admission to it. Delhi University is the first choice of most students for UG courses. Most of the students dream of getting admission to DU College. Earlier, one had to get more than 90 cutoffs for admission to DU, but after the arrival of CUET, now every child can dream of being admitted to DU. The process of taking admission to DU is also confusing for the students of UP-Bihar. There are many questions including how to take admission, and what is the process.

DU, which is counted among the most renowned universities in the country, attracts lakhs of students every year, especially the students coming from UP and Bihar, it is a big attraction. The level of education here is very good and there are many career opportunities as well. If you want to take admission in graduation courses like BA, B.Sc, or B.Com in DU (Delhi University) after the 12th, then the whole process is now through the CUET UG exam. First check your marks after the 12th result is out. At least 45 percent is required for admission to DU. Then one has to register for the CUET UG exam, which is conducted by NTA. Its form comes in March and the exam is held in May-June. Currently, the registration process for CUET UG has been closed.

CUET form has to be filled on cuet.samarth.ac.in. While filling out the form, choose your subjects carefully, for example, if you want to do a BA, you can take subjects like History, Hindi, and English. Then pay the fee and submit the form. There are three sections in CUET – Language, Domain Subject, and General Test.

How to prepare for CUET

For preparation, read NCERT books of 11th-12th, give mock tests, and focus on time management. The result will come by July. Then DU's CSAS portal will open (admission.uod.ac.in). There you have to register by entering CUET score and select the course and college of your choice. After that, the merit list is released. If you get a seat, then you have to accept it and pay the fee. If you don't get it, you can wait for the next round.

Then your document verification will be done by going to the college. Like mark sheets, CUET scores, photos, identity cards, etc. If everything goes well, the admission will be confirmed. Classes start in the last week of August or the beginning of September. Just make sure to check all the dates on time and avoid any mistakes while filling out the forms etc. If you don't understand anything, you can ask the DU helpline.
