Ladli Behna Yojana Update:
Ahead of the 23rd installment of the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana, around 319,000 women have been removed from the beneficiary list. This includes women aged above 60 years and deceased beneficiaries. To find out whether you will receive the next installment, it’s important to check your name in the updated list.
The Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana, one of Madhya Pradesh’s most popular welfare schemes for women, has already disbursed 22 installments benefiting millions of women. However, a major change has been made before the release of the 23rd installment, leaving many women surprised.
According to government data and media reports, around 319,991 women have been removed from the beneficiary list. These women are now ineligible for the 23rd installment. The reasons for removal may surprise you.
Automatic Removal After 60 Years:
The scheme clearly states that only women aged between 21 and 60 years are eligible. Once a woman crosses 60 years of age, her name is automatically removed from the portal. This is the primary reason for the large number of deletions.
Removal of Deceased Beneficiaries:
Around 15,748 women who have passed away were also removed from the list. The system automatically updates such records to ensure that only eligible beneficiaries continue to receive the benefits.
The installments under the Ladli Behna Yojana are usually credited on the 10th of every month. Although during festivals like Navratri, payments sometimes arrive earlier, this time the installment is expected to be credited on April 10, 2025.
