Beyond Paradise viewers praise 'hard-hitting but important' storyline

viewers were transported back to Shipton Abbott for the latest instalment of the crime-solving drama . The second episode of series three (played by Dylan Llewellyn) in the spotlight as he helped an old-school friend deal with a stalker.

In an unusual twist, DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) took the day off which left ) leading the case and helping Hartford. His pal Emily Buswell's (Abra Thompson) night out came to a terrifying end when she received a plethora of mysterious texts from a stalker praising the red coat she was wearing. As her panic ended with her getting hit by a car, viewers were impressed with how the drama depicted the "important" storyline."

Taking to social media, one stated: "A hard hitting storyline on tonight's #BeyondParadise, but one that was so important to tell! Amazing acting by all involved. Thank you for telling it so well @BeyondPOfficial!

Elsewhere in the episode, Humphrey and his wife Martha (Sally Bretton) were taking the day off to help their new foster child, Rosie (Bella Rei Blue Stevenson), settle into their home.

Humphrey was also left trying to impress the youngster after she admitted to finding him "weird" for having salad cream with his fish finger and chips dinner.

While Martha was pleased that she made a breakthrough with Rosie, Humphrey was determined to switch from "funny peculiar" to "funny haha."

However, Martha suggested that he just try to relax and be himself around Rosie, and she'll soon warm up to him.
