Sirsi: In a remarkable achievement, twin siblings from Shirsi — the children of well-known doctors Dr Dinesh Hegde and Dr Suman Hegde have both secured the 6th rank in the Karnataka second PUC examinations, sharing identical scores.

The twins, Daksha and Raksha, scored 594 out of 600, achieving 99% a rare and noteworthy feat, as both siblings received the same total marks.

The duo were students of Deeksha College in Bengaluru. Daksha secured 100% marks in four subjects, while Raksha earned full marks in two subjects.

It is also notable that Raksha had earlier secured 5th rank at the national level in the JEE Mains B.Arch exam, further highlighting her academic excellence.
