There is no one actor director or producer who has never made a film that failed. There is not one person who never doesnt witnesses failure. It is a rite of passage to evolve and learn to survive. Because to err is human. Actors like Sunny Deol who entails a massive fandom also has seen his share of lows. During his journey as an actor he has given a series of flops a series of hits a series of blockbusters and cult classics to. A complete package. Amidst the array of characters and filmsSunny Deol has delivered one least talked film is his 2001 release that starred Naseeruddin Shah and Chunky Panday. However the film did not succeed commercially and today remains a forgotten film. The title is Kasam. The Last Film of This Heroine The film was Shibhu Mitrra directorial that is mostly a revenge plot. Ranjeet Bedi Sharat Saxena Hemant Birje Sadashiv Amrapurkar were also featured in the film. The heroine was Neelam Kothari and it was regarded as her last film that was released before she called it quits. Hum Saath Saath Hain was the last film she shot but due to delayed release of Kasam it became her last screen presence until she made a comeback with Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Lives and Made in Heaven. According to IMDb report filming started in 1990 Sunny Deol was originally supposed to only do a guest appearance. However his role was extended and the film was later marketed as a Sunny Deol film which caused some conflict resulting in a delay that didnt see release until 2001. Ironically it was the same year when Sunny Deols cult classic Gaddar was released and became a blockbuster. Due to complications and delays Kasam hardly made noise. Several people werent even aware when the film hit the theares and when it got off. Reportedlt it was uneven to completely recover the budget. At the work front Sunny Deols massy actioner Jaat was released.
