The Ladli Behna Yojana is a state-run initiative designed to enhance the financial independence and dignity of women. It provides monthly financial assistance directly into the bank accounts of eligible women beneficiaries.
Each woman receives ₹1250 per month under this scheme. For women already receiving Social Security Pension (less than ₹1250), the scheme ensures the remaining balance is credited, making the total monthly amount ₹1250.
As per the official schedule, the 23rd installment was deposited into the Aadhaar-linked Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) accounts of eligible women by April 10, 2025.
Installments are consistently released on the 10th of each month.

To receive benefits under the Ladli Behna Yojana, a woman must:
Be a local resident of Madhya Pradesh
Be married (including widows, divorcees, or separated women)
Be born between January 1, 1961, and January 1, 2000
Have an annual family income not exceeding ₹2.5 lakh
Belong to a family where only the maximum eligible women (typically wife, mother, or daughter-in-law) apply
