At the same time, it has been closed due to technical fault in the fifth unit. There has been a panic among the authorities due to the closure of three units simultaneously. However, the responsible units are engaged in an attempt to start.
Six units are established in the NTPC Project. It produces 210 – 210 and 500 MW from five units and 500 MW. It is said that on Saturday night, the boiler of unit number four started leakage due to which he was closed. Meanwhile, three already closed number units were started, but in the beginning the suit blower coupling broke due to which it had to be closed.
The team of engineers started repairing both units. Meanwhile, the fifth unit also caused a malfunction and had to be closed. The closure of three units simultaneously affected the power generation in the project.
If sources are to be believed, at this time the unit of the project is producing about 920 MW from one or two and six number units. Public Relations Officer Rishabh Sharma, Public Relations Officer of the project, said that three and five numbers have been closed due to earthing problem in the unit grid. Production has started in the fourth unit. Both closed units will also be started soon.
These states buy electricity from NTPC
Electricity is being supplied to Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh from Unchahar Power Project. The production has decreased due to the sudden closure of three units. Experts say that due to low production, the power crisis will increase on all states. However, the project administration says that a unit has been started.
