Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant has finally returned to form. He silenced the critics by playing a brilliant half-century inning against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday. Pant, who played the 50th match of his career as a captain, also completed 400 runs against Chennai.

Captain Pant's bat roared against Chennai at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. He completed the 19th fifty of his IPL career in 42 balls. He managed to score 63 runs in 49 balls with the help of four fours and as many sixes. He was caught out by Mathisha Pathirana at the hands of Dhoni. With these brilliant innings, he also scored more than 400 runs against Chennai.

Pant has scored 438 runs in a total of 12 innings against Chennai so far. These include four half-centuries. This is the second-most runs he has scored against a team in the IPL. He has scored 551 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Before this match, Pant's bat was silent. He had scored only 40 runs in six matches. However, now he has returned to form.
