An important cabinet meeting was held in the Delhi Secretariat today under the chairmanship of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Many important decisions related to the general public have been taken in this important meeting. Apart from this, it has also been decided that the old EV policy will remain in force until the new EV policy 2.0 is applied. At the same time, the government has also made it clear that the talk of the closure of any kind of auto in Delhi is only rumored and baseless.

After meeting the media after the meeting, Energy Minister Ashish Sood said that the cabinet has taken a historic decision to continue subsidy for four major sections today. These include subsidies for farmers, subsidies for Sikh riot victims of 1984, subsidy to existing domestic consumers, subsidy related to lawyers' chambers. Subsidy is a very important decision of our government for the 1984 Sikh riot victims and lawyers.

Opposition accused of propaganda

Through this decision, we dismiss all the rumors and propaganda in which it was said that the Delhi government is going to end the subsidy. Today, the decision of the Delhi government's cabinet decision to continue the subsidy of these four categories has also ended the propaganda of the opposition.

He further stated that some self-declared unemployed leaders are constantly trying to confuse the public, but we assure that the Delhi government is completely serious in its works and will take every necessary step in the public interest. Today's decision is a symbol of this commitment. They will continue to spread lies, but the Delhi government will work at its own pace and expose all these lies with time. There is no need for the people of Delhi to worry. Our government is working with full responsibility and sensitivity.

Government told reports of auto shutdown

Along with this, a new EV policy was discussed in the meeting of Delhi Cabinet today. Transport Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh insisted that it is our top priority to provide better public transport service to the people of Delhi. No transport services will be closed. The news being spread about auto shutdown is completely misleading and baseless. The Delhi government denies this type of propaganda.

Currently the old EV policy will continue

He said that the previous government did not release the subsidy amount on EV procurement, due to which those consumers could not get their rights till date. As long as the new EV policy 2.0 is made, the old EV policy will remain in force. The aim of the Delhi government is to ensure a better and world -class public transport system in the capital, so that ordinary citizens do not face any kind of inconvenience.
