Addressing cinema watchers at the theater, Union Minister Puri appreciated the efforts of the makers of Kesari Chapter 2 to show the “transformative period” of India's history with the help of magnificent Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan.

Hardeep Singh Puri said, “We are very happy to get a chance to watch this film, which not only promises to be a magnificent blockbuster, but I am sure it focuses on a transformative phase of our history, which makes history out of the books of history and convey it to all of you with the talent and talent of Bollywood.

“The film is based on the incidents after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It has shown an exciting courtroom match between Akshay Kumar, who plays C Shankaran Nair, and R Madhavan, who is playing the role of Neville McCinley, the lawyer who defends the British Crown.
