The Nahargarh Fort located on the Aravalli mountain range of Jaipur was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century. 'Madhavendra Bhavan' is located inside this fort, in which the king built 9 different palaces for his nine queens. The story of the soul is associated with the name
The origin named 'Nahargarh' is also associated with a supernatural event. It is said that when the construction of this fort started, mysterious events started to happen- the walls fell on their own at night. The construction work stopped several times. Then a tantric said that this place is influenced by the soul of a Rajput warrior Nahar Singh Bhogal, who considers this place as his own. After this, the fort was named "Nahargarh" and special prayers were made for the peace of the soul. Then the construction of the fort could be completed.
Ghost events - just stories or reality?
Many tourists and local employees claim that there is a scary atmosphere in the fort at night. Camera shutdown, mobile network disappearance, whisper in ears with cold winds, all these are common things. Some employees say that they have also seen the shadow and glimpse of unknown faces on the walls of the fort. Several times the guard present in Nahargarh told that he refused to have rounds at night, because they feel that someone is watching or chasing them from behind.
Suicide incidents and black spots
Another shocking thing is that many suicides have also been reported in this fort. Some people committed suicide by jumping from the roof of the fort, due to which it has not been clear till date. Apart from this, some old black spots on the fort walls still remain mystery. It is said that these spots belong to the time when some laborers died mysteriously.

Today, Nahargarh Fort is a favorite place for thousands of tourists coming to Jaipur. People see the beautiful view of the city from here, the amazing view of the sunset captures on camera, but most of the tourists return from here. Staying in the fort at night still scares most people.
