Patna. The Education Department has taken a big decision regarding the inter -district transfer of teachers employed in Bihar. Now only those employed teachers will be eligible for inter -district transfer, who have successfully passed the competence examination. Apart from this, teachers trapped in departmental proceedings, monitoring investigation or financial irregularity will not be transferred.

On Wednesday, 7351 female teachers were transferred by the Education Department. But local bodies have been excluded from this process. The department has clarified that such teachers who are accused of departmental disciplinary action, monitoring investigation or financial disturbances will not be transferred at the moment.

Explain that all the District Education Officers have been instructed by the Bihar Education Department that if a local body teacher has been transferred, then its information should be compulsorily uploaded on the e-education portal.

The department has further said that in future local body teachers will be transferred only when they pass the competence examination and contribute to the new school. This step has been taken with the aim of ensuring transparency and quality in the education system. This initiative of the Bihar government is considered important towards improvement in education system and ensuring deployment of qualified teachers.
