A man was rushed to hospital with stab wounds after a reported "altercation" in the centre of Rotherham. The man was found by police outside Old Town Hall near a B&M in the centre of the Yorkshire town.
Local radio Rother Radio took to X to report: "BREAKING: Reports of a major incident developing in Rotherham Town Centre. It is thought that an altercation took place outside the Pound Bakery close to B&M. One person has believed to have gone to Hospital."
South Yorkshire Police confirmed a man, 51, was stabbed outside Old Town Hall, with officers called to the scene just after midday on Thursday (April 17).
